Is a private transfer from Heathrow to central London worth it?
It is worth it when you have bags, a meeting to get to, or more than one person travelling. The trains are quick between stations, but they stop at a station – a transfer stops at your door.
If you land at 06:00 with a case and a laptop bag, a car that is already waiting saves you two changes and the walk at the other end. If you are travelling light to somewhere next to Paddington, the train may suit you better. We would rather you pick the right option than the wrong one.

Road times change with traffic, so we do not quote one. The fare does not change with traffic, because it is fixed when you book.
How does the pick-up at Heathrow work?
Your inbound flight is tracked, so an early or late landing does not need reporting. Once you have cleared baggage reclaim, call the number on your confirmation and your driver meets you in the arrivals hall, normally with a name board.

How much is a private transfer from Heathrow to central London?

Between stations the trains are quick – heathrow.com states 15 minutes to Paddington on the express train and under 40 minutes on the Elizabeth line. A transfer takes you to your door with no changes, but road time depends on traffic.
