How urbook Works: Your Booking, Your Way

Your first urbook booking, step by step: how to search, compare, fill in checkout, what you get after paying, how to change a booking and what happens on the day you travel.

What is urbook?

urbook is a UK booking site where you compare and book airport parking, airport transfers and South Asia holiday packages in one place, then manage every booking yourself. The name is the promise: urbook – your booking.

This page walks you through your first booking, step by step – what you choose, what you type in, what you get back, and what happens on the day you travel. For policies and short answers, see our FAQ.

Step 1: How do I search?

Start on the urbook home page and pick the service.

  • Parking: choose the airport, your drop-off date and time (when you arrive at the car park) and your pick-up date and time (when you land back). At Heathrow you also pick your terminal, because Meet & Greet meets you at the terminal itself – check yours in our Heathrow terminal guide.
  • Transfers: enter your pick-up postcode, the airport, the date and time, and how many passengers and suitcases. The distance is worked out from your postcode and shown as approximate.
  • Holidays: choose a destination and your UK departure airport, then the number of travellers. Prices are per person and change with the size of your party. Flights are not included.

Tip: put your real times in, not rounded ones. Parking is priced on the days you are away, so an extra day you don't need costs money.

Step 2: How do I compare the options?

The results page shows every option for your dates side by side, with the total for your whole stay – not a daily rate you have to multiply.

Step 3: What do I fill in at checkout?

Have these ready:

  • Your name, email and mobile number (the confirmation goes to that email).
  • Parking: your car registration, make, model and colour, and your outbound and return flight numbers, so the car park knows when you land.
  • Transfers: flight numbers, and the number of passengers, suitcases and hand luggage, so the right size of vehicle comes.
  • Holidays: the lead traveller's details. You can also add Heathrow parking or a transfer to the same booking.

Optional extras – Cancellation Cover and SMS updates – are shown with their price before you pay, so the total you see is the total you pay. If this is your first urbook booking, type URFIRST10 (£10 off) or WELCOMEUR (10% off) in the discount code box for £10 off (one code per booking).

Step 4: What happens after I pay?

  • You see a confirmation page with your booking reference, starting UB-.
  • A confirmation email follows with everything you need on the day: the address or meeting point, the drop-off and pick-up steps, and a booking summary.
  • Business travellers can use the receipt for expenses, and we can request a VAT receipt from the provider for you.

Didn't get the email? Check your spam folder, then look the booking up at Find my booking with your reference and email.

Step 5: How do I change or check my booking?

Log in and open the UrHelp chat (bottom corner of every page). You can view your bookings and, up to 48 hours before drop-off, change details such as your name, phone, car registration or flight numbers yourself – you get an updated confirmation email straight away. Changes to dates, airport or service go to our team. Booked as a guest? Use Find my booking.

Cancelling depends on whether you added Cancellation Cover; the full rules are in our Terms. Holiday packages follow the holiday operator's own booking conditions.

Step 6: What happens on the day I travel?

  • Meet & Greet: follow the steps in your confirmation email to meet the driver at the terminal, hand over the keys and walk in.
  • Park & Ride / Self Park: drive to the address in your email, park, and take the shuttle or walk to the terminal. Allow extra time – see how early to arrive at Heathrow.
  • Transfers: your driver comes to your pick-up address at the booked time; for the journey home, the flight number on your booking tells them when you land.
  • Holidays: everything from arrival onwards follows the itinerary in your holiday package.

Flight delayed on the way back? Your flight number is on the booking, but read airport parking and delayed flights so you know what to do.

Can I book a holiday, parking and a transfer together?

Yes. Every holiday package has an "Add Parking or Transfer" option, so the holiday and your airport parking or transfer share one booking reference and one payment. The full walk-through is in Holiday, airport parking & transfer in one booking.

How does urbook check its holiday partners?

urbook checks every holiday partner's licence and that they are eligible to operate, and has a signed memorandum with each partner before their packages are listed.
