How Park & Ride works at Luton
You drive to the compound yourself, park in a marked bay and keep your own keys. A shuttle runs between the car park and the terminal, usually taking around ten minutes. Your car stays exactly where you left it, under CCTV, until you come back for it.
Nobody else drives it. If that matters to you, this is the service to book.
One terminal to reach
Luton has a single passenger terminal, so the shuttle runs one route and there is no train leg or terminal change to work out. Simpler than Heathrow in that respect.
How much time to allow
Call the car park roughly 20 to 30 minutes before you arrive so someone is ready to meet you. Then allow around ten minutes for the shuttle on top of your normal check-in time, and more at peak periods when the bus fills quickly.
Coming home
Call once you have your baggage and are ready to leave the terminal. Board the return shuttle from the terminal stop, show your ticket at the barrier, and collect your car.
What to have ready
Your booking reference, your keys, and any unusual starting instructions. Take valuables with you rather than leaving them in the car.
Park & Ride or Meet & Greet at Luton?
Park & Ride keeps your keys in your pocket and your car untouched, at the cost of a short transfer at each end. Meet & Greet takes the transfer away but hands your car to a driver. Yes. You park the car yourself in a marked bay and keep your keys for the whole trip.
How many terminals does Luton have?
One, so there is a single shuttle route and no terminal change to work out.
Is my car secure?
Cars are parked in CCTV-monitored compounds. Specific cover varies by operator and is set out in their terms.
Do you offer a discount for new customers?
Yes. New customers can use URFIRST10 for £10 off or WELCOMEUR for 10% off their first booking, entered in the discount box at checkout – one code per booking. It applies once, on your first completed booking, and cannot be used again afterwards.
How long is the shuttle at Luton?
Around ten minutes between the car park and the terminal. Allow longer at peak times.
How early should I arrive?
Call the car park 20 to 30 minutes before you get there, and allow ten minutes for the shuttle on top of normal check-in.
Can I cancel?
Cancellation cover is available at checkout for GBP 2.00. With it you can cancel online up to 24 hours before drop-off for a full refund of the booking price; there is no refund within 24 hours or for a no-show, and the Cover and SMS fees are not refunded. (Bookings made before 26 October 2026 keep 48 hours.)
